Spooky Stroll: A Halloween Treasure Hunt You Can Play Anywhere
This Halloween, add a spooky adventure to your night out. With Spooky Stroll: The Halloween Treasure Hunt, your own neighborhood becomes the setting for a Halloween scavenger hunt, wherever you live, and you can play it alongside your usual trick-or-treating. It’s the first game built with Play Anywhere, a new type of game that can be played anywhere in the world.
The game is carefully set up to keep its locations off roads, in safe pedestrian areas, so you can focus on the fun.
Here’s the story waiting for you:
Halloween night is going terribly wrong! The ghosts have lost their courage, the monsters have forgotten their tricks, and the magical Halloween lantern is fading. Visit the locations, take on spooky challenges, solve puzzles, and collect points to help restore Halloween magic.

What to expect
In less than an hour, Spooky Stroll takes you to 5 locations around your neighborhood, each with its own set of challenges. Some will test your wits, others will get you moving, and many will leave you with fun souvenirs of the event, like photos and videos to keep and share.
You can play solo or with a group of friends, so it works just as well for a family day as for a night out with your friends. Every challenge you complete earns points and brings the Halloween magic one step closer to being restored.
And if you make it to the end, there’s a reward waiting for you.
How to play
- Download the TurfHunt app, tap the Play Anywhere button on the map, and find Spooky Stroll: The Halloween Adventure in the list of games.
- Start the game on the day you want to play, ideally before October 31st, Halloween night.
- Choose where to play: set the area on the map, for example close to your neighborhood. The app then places the 5 locations for you within a 1 km area.
- Invite your friends. When the game starts, you get a unique code. Share it with your group, and everyone can join the same game, with the same locations, on their own phone. Prefer to share one device? You can also play together on a single phone.
- Visit each location, complete the challenges and collect points before midnight.
Finish the game, win early access
Everyone who plays and finishes Spooky Stroll wins free early access to Play Anywhere, the new project type in the Locatify Builder that made this game possible.
Play Anywhere opens in beta on November 1st to a small group of people first, and finishing Spooky Stroll gets you into that group.
How to claim your reward: when you complete the game, you’ll unlock a reward with a special code written on it. Email that code to Locatify Support Channel, and we’ll get in touch to set up your early access.

- Set up the game before it gets dark, so you’re ready to play when the fun starts.
- Play in a group, and make sure children are accompanied by an adult.

Spooky Stroll was built with Play Anywhere, a new type of project in the Locatify Builder. A regular treasure hunt is tied to the place it was built for: every stop sits at a fixed spot on the map.
