Barcelona Segwayday offers Segway and eScooter tours in Barcelona as  great way to experience the city from a different perspective! The company commissioned Locatify to build the GPS Grand Tour app to help visitors to dive into the city like an insider with recommended GT Places and GPS self-guided audio tours about Barcelona’s History and culture.

Automatic Tourist Guide

The app uses the Automatic Tourist Guide app template which features a customisable home page for adding app pages, a local weather widget, WhatsApp chat support and links to the core features. The key features include GPS enabled audio guides, interactive map and local services which can be managed via the Creator CMS.

GPS GT Tour Guides

The audio guided tours guide provides turn-by-turn navigation and points of interest which provide an insiders guide to the rich history and culture of Barcelona. The app has an algorithm which copies the CMS tour points of interest into google maps and plays the tour audio over top of the google maps directions at the right locations.

WhatsApp & GT Places

The app has a custom page to access WhatsApp chat support and GT recommended places which uses the Locatify Map Markers feature to provide categorised suggested local services and places of interest. The GT Places can be viewed on the map, as a list or as additional points of interests in the tours.
