Outfinders is a Spanish adventure company which provides high quality “Outdoor Escape Room” games. The games turn any city into a stage for the player to discover incredible places, solving mysteries, clues and riddles to become the game hero.
Challenge
Provide a way for Outfinders to easily scale and monetise their existing outdoor escape room games, in a way that is covid safe and which appeals to a wide audience.
Solution
The app uses a white-label app template and the Locatify CMS for managing the app content. Outfinders can create and update game content at anytime (including game maps and locations, challenges and media elements), and they can set pricing and view game progress.

Outdoor Street Escape Games
- Games are segmented by city and theme with each game providing a unique experience
- Players enter an invitation code or choose their desired game via a list or map view
- Games are available either for free or monetised and unlocked via an in-app purchase
- Each device is registered as a team
Location-Based Learning

Players select and download themed tours in their desired language
- Players enter their name and email so they can be contacted later
- The game admin can view uploaded player contact details and uploaded challenge content via the game control panel
- Games feature maps and location-based content triggered by GPS (or Beacons)

- Players earn points for visiting locations and completing challenges
- Photo challenges ask players to take a photo (and draw or add a sticker to the photo)
- Question challenges can be multi-choice or text based questions
