Húnaþing vestra is a municipality located in northern Iceland by Húnaflói gulf. It was founded on 7 June 1998 by the merging of all 7 of the old rural municipalities of Vestur-Húnavatnssýsla.

Challenge

Create an app to provide a personal guide for visitors to Húnaþing vestra with services, activities, accommodation and hiking trails.

Solution

The Húnaþing Guide app features a simple UI with a map and list view of local services, activities, accommodation, GPS enabled audio guides for local hiking trails and local weather forecasts.
