Traditional tourist experiences are losing popularity, especially among younger audiences accustomed to interactive digital experiences. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for innovative, self-guided exploration formats.

Solution
Gamescape created the EscapeCity application using Locatify’s Branded App solution:
- GPS-based or indoor map-based games
- interactive challenges: quizzes, photo/video tasks, memory games, puzzles
- customizable templates promoting local attractions
- integration of historical facts, audio content, and visual elements
- gamification elements: scoring systems and leaderboards
The solution has been implemented in two games:
- “On the Trail of Our Airport’s History” – commemorating Balice Airport’s 60th anniversary
- “The Mystery of the Lost Painting” – promoting educational values in museums

Gamified Learning
