Locatify presented Automatic Museum Guide at the embassy of London to 25 attendants from museums in the London area. It was a very lively and well attended meeting.

Mark Dodsworth from Europartneship had organized the meeting and welcomed the guests on arrival. Kristín Jóhannesdóttir from Eldheimar museum in Iceland presented Eldheimar and talked about how the museum evolves around the people and their remembrance of the eruption in Vestmannaeyjar in 1973.

Steinunn Anna Gunnlaugsdóttir held a presentation on Locatify and the tools the company has made to create Automatic Tourist Guide and Automatic Museum Guide. Leifur Björn Björnsson went further into the location based technology and the development of the Automatic Museum Guide.

After a coffee break where the Icelandic delicacy flatbread with smoked lamb was served a panel was set where Kristín, Leifur and Steinunn answered questions from the attendants. Discussion where quite lively and several inquiries about the technology came from directors and technicians of the museums.

Then Leifur showed briefly how the CMS for the indoor location is used followed by the CMS for outdoors and Steinunn presented a short game for around the embassy created in the CMS.

After as great meeting the ambassador offered the guest wine and the discussions continued. This meeting was a great successful to the point of introducing Locatify’s technology and networking with museums’ personal.
