ESTEAM is a collaborative project between education providers, GeoParks and technology companies in Slovenia, Portugal, Norway and Iceland. The project is funded by the EU’s Erasmus+ program.

Challenge

The enhancement of school teaching methods by linking schools, experts and GeoParks in combination with outdoor activities and ICT technologies for creating contemporary and fun ways of teaching.

Solution

Locatify created a custom Treasure Hunt Game app with multiple challenge types and a CMS license which allows teachers to share content between accounts.

The Process

Quick setup, thoughtfully chosen templates and an easy to use content management system makes it easy for anyone to get an app.

List View Template

The app uses the List View template which shows a list of al tours and games which are available to download. The tours and games use GPS to trigger media and challenges on location.

Locatify Creator CMS Features

This app uses outdoor tour guides and treasure hunt games with maps and GPS. Teachers can create and manage game instances from the CMS and can view and edit uploaded game content via the online scoreboard.

Customisation

The client provided branding assets such as app icon, loading image, banner logo and chose the theme colours. The app is also features custom challenge types.
