To service a wider range of customers and improve the user experience through intuitive and easy to use audio content

Solution

Each seat on the bus is equipped with headphones and an Android tablet with a custom app pre-loaded with audio content in ten languages to compliment the English speaking guide on each tour. The Tours are available offline and the audio is triggered automatically using GPS.

The app uses the Automatic Tour Guide template which features GPS enabled tours with high quality photos and audio narration.

Locatify Creator CMS Features

This app uses outdoor GPS tour guides with custom point content templates.

Customisation

The client provided branding assets such as app icon, loading image, banner logo and chose the theme colours. Each location in the tour features a custom page to display the media content on Lenovo tablets.

App Store & Play Store

The app is only available on devices provided in the bus. The app is managed via Locatify Kiosk which allows the company to update the devices remotely.
